A House Full of Ideas

As a partner to the trade, OSTERMANN proudly presented its products at the Materials & Finishes Show, which took place from 19 to 22 May in Birmingham. At the large stand eight OSTERMANN employees presented the company's service, diversity and speed in person.

Due to the new exhibition concept in Birmingham, the OSTERMANN stand was much larger this time than in previous years. It was a good thing, too, because as a partner to the trade, the company not only wanted to present as many new products and services as possible to trade fair visitors, but also give them numerous ideas for future projects. In addition ,the range had been greatly expanded once again with the addition of fittings. For the visitors to maintain an overview despite the diversity, the OSTERMANN experts had come up with a very special concept this time: a tour through different living spaces, past many pieces of furniture that each revealed individual solutions. There was also a new, large edging wall with the latest innovations.

Many New Collections = Many New Edgings

The trade fair in Birmingham was a good opportunity for OSTERMANN to present its perfectly matching edgings to the board suppliers' current collections. First and foremost, the edgings for the new Egger Decorative Collection 24+. Then there were new edgings for the Polyrey, Formica, Abet Laminati and Resopal collections on display. The main trend among the new collections are extremely matt surface finishes, both on decor and plain boards. With their new Perfect Matt finish, OSTERMANN offers the equivalent for the edging.

New Edging Materials and Ideas

Besides linoleum edgings, OSTERMANN's new PP edgings were on show for the first time. In addition, visitors could find out more about the new customised decor edgings. With these, customers can design a decor themselves and receive their created edging in the required dimension.

Through the Hallway and Into the Kitchen

The diversity in the OSTERMANN range offers a solution for almost every application in private and commercial furniture construction: surfaces, furniture fronts, drawers, lights... Walking through different rooms, said diversity could be discovered on selected furniture. Even a flight of stairs including staircase lighting and cabinet solutions underneath the stairs had been built for the exhibition. The kitchen was a definite highlight, with edgings to surfaces from the new collections, but also numerous applications with the new Hettich fittings.

New: Drawers & Hinges From Hettich

Since the end of 2023, OSTERMANN UK has also been supplying Hettich's innovative drawer systems and hinges, and can now support their customers even better in the construction of their furniture. A new catalogue was sent out in January. At the Materials & Finishes Show, trade fair visitors could personally take a look at selected products on classic applications in the kitchen and, of course, receive advice from the trade fair team on request.
