Mix and Match
When we mix, we also match! Simply put: a mix of different colours and textures can generate an interesting look. Especially with bold combinations, however, you should bear a clear concept in mind and carefully match all elements in the room. In our example, light wood hues alternate with plain colours in the same spectrum. The green wall colour perfectly complements the wooden furniture and the brown floor.
The oak tone of the handrails and stairs merges into a wide-grained decor on the closet, with our matching ABS edging Baron Elm smooth. On the inner carcasses, we applied our ABS edging Dune Beige minipearl in a plain sand tone. The same colour can be detected in the open shelves that break up the wardrobe front. As you can see: the colours differ only by a few shades, while the different surface textures create quite the special look.
