As reflected by exhibitors on the current autumns trade fairs, linoleum fronts are celebrating a comeback in kitchen design. Furniture makers who wish to implement this kitchen trend for their customers can find in our shop the matching material. A highlight here: Ostermann linoleum edgings.
Linoleum in the kitchen is not exactly a new idea. It goes back as far as the early 20th century, when worktops of kitchen sideboards were coated with this robust material. Modern plastics then took over and let the durable linoleum disappear for a longer period of time. Now it is back in the kitchen. In addition to an aesthetic appearance and sustainability, linoleum scores with antistatic and antibacterial properties, all of which makes it a good choice for kitchen applications. As a desk surface or for fronts in living areas, the material has long proven its worth. Furniture makers who want to use linoleum for kitchen fronts in order to create something special for their customers can get the surface material in rolls or cut to size from us. Edgings made from the same material finish off the furniture and give it a truly high-grade look. We stock all surfaces and matching edgings in 24 modern colours. Alternatively, we can also supply ready-to-install linoleum furniture fronts made to measure with matching linoleum edgings.
Exclusively from us: Linoleum Edgings
Ostermann linoleum edgings have proven their practical worth in manifold applications since their introduction to the market. They are available in three widths (26, 36 and 46 mm) from stock and can be applied either with an edgebanding machine or manually. For machine processing, our experts recommend using a PUR hotmelt adhesive, such as REDOCOL Kantomelt PUR.
