OSTERMANN midway system, individual profiles

The extremely flexible midway system can be built into kitchens or used in living areas for wardrobes or TV furniture. The visually appealing aluminium profiles can be applied onto boards with a thickness of 4 to 16 mm, or glass panels with a thickness of 4 to 8 mm. Numerous accessories and a great choice of material variants offer diverse design possibilities for the creation of back panels in kitchen and home furnishings. For production reasons on the aluminium profiles there are marks about 50 mm from the ends of the profile, due to the contact anodising process.

There is also the option to integrate LED strips with the LED mounting profile for furniture glasses. This way, the midway system combined with glass fillings can be used for indirect illumination of worktops and rooms. The width of the groove depends on the board material and the profile's further processing. As a guideline, you can use the formula "Width of T-bar minus 0.5 mm". We recommend initial test millings to determine the groove width.
