The Dining Area: One Room. Many Purposes

The dining area is always a multifunctional space, especially for young families with children: it is the centre of family life, a place to have meals together, celebrate, read or make things. In our case, the furniture is also part of the open living room, which is why functionality, flexibility and design are equally required. For the surface design, we went with a wood decor in the style of matt oiled veneer, while the fronts have a walnut-coloured linoleum surface. Both materials are child-friendly and easy to clean. At the same time, they give the room warmth and an authentic appearance which harmonises with the high-quality natural surfaces in the adjoining living room.

Dimmable smarthome-enabled furniture lights on almost all furniture add to the cosy atmosphere and make the dining area a highlight in the room, even in the evening.
